- Influence project performance across safety, cost, schedule and quality
- Build solutions that support the long-term success of the operation
- Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of mechanical projects
- Support projects from concept development and engineering solutions through project delivery and contractor engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience delivering projects within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or construction
- Strong project planning, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop scopes of work and technical documentation
- Experience managing contractors or project work packages
- Current driver's licence
- A proactive and solutions focused approach
- SAP experience (highly regarded)
- AutoCAD or Inventor capability (highly regarded)
- Structural, steelwork or construction project experience (highly regarded)
- Defence or other heavy industrial project environments (highly regarded)
