About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to safe, reliable and continuous gold production outcomes
- Operate processing plant circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching
- Monitor plant performance and processing parameters to maintain operational targets
- Respond to process deviations and equipment issues to minimise downtime
- Support plant isolations, shutdown activities and operational readiness
- Maintain accurate log sheets and deliver effective shift handovers
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience within a processing plant, mining or heavy industry environment
- Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with multiple stakeholders
- Experience monitoring process performance and responding to operational issues
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritise work, make sound operational decisions and follow procedures
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Previous gold processing plant experience highly regarded but not essential
- Experience operating or monitoring DCS systems highly regarded but not essential
- Certificate III in Metalliferous Mining or Resource Processing highly regarded but not essential
- Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation or leaching circuits highly regarded but not essential
