Key responsibilities & impact

Lead one of CCC's new AI product teams
Own delivery, hiring, and people management
Hire, grow, and retain software, ML, and AI engineers
Provide feedback and conduct performance and career conversations
Own planning, priorities, execution, production quality, and team/product metrics
Partner with product and domain experts to shape the roadmap
Lead across teams and more than one reporting line
Set how the team uses AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools
Review design documents and pull requests and assess AI feature readiness for customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers
Experience shipping AI, ML, or LLM-powered products to production
Hands-on depth in TypeScript, Python, and AI-assisted tools
A track record of hiring well and growing teams
A data-driven approach using metrics to run the team and judge product effectiveness
Comfort leading across more than one reporting line
Strong written communication with executives
Video interview required
