About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, review, and negotiate complex contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
- Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
- Monitor contract compliance, reporting, and risk management to support project governance
- Support claims management, including preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution
- Assist in resolving contract disputes
- Analyse and interpret contract terms and conditions to protect the organization’s interests
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and address contractual issues
- Monitor contract performance and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive contract documentation and records
- Develop and implement contract management processes and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for contract-related risks
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Coordinators
- Support drafting contractual correspondence
- Participate in project reviews, including financial reviews, and the tender phase
- Provide input during offer preparation
- Liaise with the central Contract Management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial practices, and risk management
- Extensive experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and/or similar, HG1, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
