About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the workflow of incoming content, web, and other requests
Collaborate with partners to understand requirements and goals
Ensure effective communication within internal project teams in an agile environment
Oversee all project stages from conception through development using agile methodologies
Work closely with creative and development teams to meet deadlines
Create project timelines and define internal processes and checkpoints
Coordinate expertise in web development, art direction, graphic design, and digital content production
Manage and report on project schedules, budgets, and status
Assign issues to designers and developers and track them through completion
Ensure client satisfaction and project team engagement
Provide insights and recommendations as projects evolve
Represent client interests at Evolving Web
Supervise a team of developers and provide regular performance feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience overseeing complex technical projects at an agency, web development firm, or digital marketing company
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience working in an agile environment
Proven ability to understand web development projects, applications, and technical concepts
Knowledge of Drupal, WordPress, and/or mobile development
Experience using web project management tools such as JIRA, Redmine, and Basecamp
Understanding of web usability, accessibility, and user experience best practices
Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Strong communication skills in both French and English; English is required for regular collaboration with clients and team members outside Quebec
Experience working with institutional clients is an asset
Applicants based in North America must be available during Montreal working hours, use tools such as Slack, and demonstrate exceptional self-management and proactive communication
