About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product features end-to-end, from workflow problem through technical design, implementation, verification, production rollout, and operational readiness
- Reason across software architecture, data models, integrations, and reusable product patterns, grounded in customer, operator, and implementation-team experience
- Design and deliver reliable full-stack features supporting complex healthcare workflows at scale using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud-native tooling
- Maintain quality across testing, observability, deployment safety, and incident response
- Identify and create reusable abstractions, frameworks, and AI-powered patterns
- Collaborate with product, operations, platform, ML, design, clinical, customer-facing, and engineering teams
- Shape technical direction across multiple product areas and influence architectural decisions
- Raise engineering standards and improve engineering velocity and product consistency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals
- Proficiency with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and modern backend architecture
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on product engineering, backend systems, or full-stack development
- Ability to own production-facing features end-to-end, from design to rollout, without requiring constant senior oversight
- Good product and workflow judgment
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and executing independently on high-impact, open-ended problems
- Clear communication with product, operations, platform, ML, and other engineering partners
- Experience building applied AI features or working with LLM infrastructure
- Experience with healthcare workflows, care-setting variability, or regulated environments
- Experience with EHR integrations or health data standards
- Experience with operational tooling or onboarding/support-heavy product surfaces
- Experience building reusable patterns or frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
