Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the analysis and interpretation of data to drive strategic business decisions
Mentor and coach junior data analysts, fostering their professional development
Partner with stakeholders to define data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives
Design and implement robust data models and architecture
Develop advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data efficiently
Oversee creation and optimization of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
Ensure best practices in data governance, quality assurance, and security compliance
Drive adoption of new data analysis tools and methodologies
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to improve data pipelines and accessibility
Communicate complex data insights to executive stakeholders clearly and actionably
Lead Agile data analysis initiatives aligned with overall business strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields
Expert SQL skills, including query optimization and data transformation
Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong understanding of cloud analytics products such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
Proven experience applying statistical techniques to drive business insights
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage ambiguity
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior analysts
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Ability to develop and present executive-level data reports and recommendations
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis is a plus
