About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage a portfolio of clients, including sole proprietors, agricultural companies subject to personal or corporate income tax, artisans, and commercial companies
Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, and tax packages
Prepare balance sheets and present annual financial statements to clients alongside the chartered accountant
Carry out ad hoc assignments, including dashboards, financial forecasts, performance indicators, and more
Prepare income tax returns
Use digital tools to facilitate clients’ accounting monitoring and administrative organization
Actively contribute to providing advisory support to business owners
Work closely with the agency manager and the chartered accountant

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (three-year post-secondary qualification) or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in a chartered accountancy firm is preferred
Experience with agricultural accounting and income (BA — Agricultural Profits) would be an advantage
Curious, organized, and methodical
Strong interest in digital technologies
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
