About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently manage a portfolio of clients, including sole proprietors, agricultural companies subject to personal or corporate income tax, tradespeople, and commercial companies
Prepare VAT returns, annual accounts, and tax packages
Prepare financial statements and present annual accounts to clients alongside the chartered accountant
Carry out ad hoc assignments, including dashboards, financial forecasts, performance indicators, and more
Prepare personal income tax returns
Use digital tools to facilitate clients’ accounting monitoring and administrative organization
Support and advise business owners
Contribute to the advisory approach and close client relationships
Liaise with the office manager and the chartered accountant

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (three-year post-secondary education) or Master’s degree
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in an accounting firm preferred
Experience with agricultural accounting and agricultural profits would be an advantage
Curious, organized, and methodical
Strong interest in digital tools
Ability to work as part of a team
Proficiency in, or ability to use, Pennylane, ISACOMPTA, RCA Bilan Imagé, Prévi Flash, AGORA Expert, COT TNS, an internal document management system, and a digital platform
