About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support an Engagement Manager in managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs)
- Participate in accounting review engagements
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings
- Prepare analyses, reports, and dashboards
- Participate in cash flow management
- Address client needs with quality, enthusiasm, and efficiency
- Work as part of a seven-person team with the support and guidance of an Engagement Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of experience in an accounting firm
- Experience managing portfolios of very small and small to medium-sized businesses
- Positive, motivated, and curious mindset
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Enjoy teamwork and be ready to commit to a collaborative, people-focused environment
- Fluency in French is required, as the position is posted in French
