About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver two 100-hour English language programs
- Teach five 60-minute lessons per week for each program
- Develop participants' English speaking and writing fluency
- Use a creative conversational teaching approach for one participant
- Begin training live online
- Transition to in-person training upon the participant's arrival to Texas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience teaching language live online
- Proven experience teaching English to non-native speakers
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical methods
- Native Brazilian Portuguese-speaking participants
- Availability Monday–Friday, 6pm–9pm BRT (GMT-3:00) for one program
- Availability Monday–Friday, 9am–12pm BRT (GMT-3:00) for the other program
