About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain Exigo’s security program in accordance with NISPOM and other applicable regulations
Manage personnel security clearances, including clearance requests, reinvestigations, and debriefs/terminations
Conduct regular security training and awareness programs
Perform security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and annual self-inspections
Maintain security records, reports, and compliance documentation
Investigate and promptly report security incidents or violations and implement corrective actions
Oversee physical security measures, access control, visitor management, and safeguarding of classified materials
Assist with opening and closing the SCIF according to established procedures
Cover the front office reception desk as needed
Support day-to-day security operations and administrative duties
Serve as liaison with government security agencies, employees, management, customers, and stakeholders
Provide occasional front-office coverage and travel between buildings or secure labs as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Top Secret with SCI/SAP eligibility
4–6 years of experience in facility security management or a related security role
Certified/trained FSO or equivalent professional security certification
Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM and Department of Defense/War security requirements
Familiarity with DODM 5105.21, DODM 5205.07, and ICD-705
Strong understanding of personnel security clearance processes and procedures
Familiarity with DISS, SCINet, NISS, and JADE
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proven ability to lead security training programs and develop security awareness materials
Experience working within a defense contractor or government agency environment
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and integration of physical and information security controls
Experience with the Insider Threat program
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred)
Experience as a CSSO or GSSO (preferred)
