About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes
  • Develop Snowflake programs and perform data transformation and data testing
  • Apply business analysis knowledge to Power BI data modeling and SQL
  • Use Python for automation, data cleansing, and standardization
  • Analyze ETL requirements and source-to-target mappings to design test scenarios and test cases
  • Write and run complex SQL queries for data validation across different environments
  • Log and track defects using Jira, ALM, Bugzilla, and similar tools
  • Create automated test scripts using Python
  • Validate data quality, data profiling, and data cleansing processes across source and target systems
  • Review and validate source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic
  • Gather client-related requirements
  • Manage finance analysis reporting and provide quicker solutions
  • Maintain project and automation documentation and log trackers
  • Perform business data modeling and Power BI/Tableau visualization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Business analysis experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of Python, Power BI, and SQL experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Mandatory Oracle & SQL Server
  • Strong expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries, sub queries, complex joins, and stored procedure validations
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts, including fact/dimension tables and star/snowflake schema
  • Working exposure to testing data ingestion/curation pipelines
  • Knowledge of data profiling, data quality checks, and root cause analysis
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, Azure DevOps, and Rally
  • Proficiency in analyzing data issues and tracing root causes
  • Working exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
