About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive cash and apply cash to correct policies
- Research unapplied cash
- Report and resolve open items with Onshore billing partners
- Handle premium cash application for different lockboxes, including wire and ACH
- Manage year-, month-, and quarter-end expectations with stringent timelines
- Perform daily/monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations, research, and analysis
- Prepare and extract reports and investigate accounting issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accounting Graduate with 5+ years of Finance and accounting experience in Cash applications and month close
- Comprehension skills – should be able to read, interpret business documents
- Ability to analyse complex information, relate and compare data from different sources and identify cause and effect relationships
