About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead small-scale operational analytics projects
- Ensure data accuracy and process improvements
- Mentor junior analysts in data collection and analysis techniques
- Create new algorithms from scratch
- Work with large data sets and relational databases
- Analyze issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly
- Develop Advanced Analytics models to optimize business problems
- Perform analysis to identify patterns within data
- Test and develop hypotheses about business problems using data
- Decide on relevant variables for the modelling phase
- Serve as the domain expert for the respective area
- Perform manual selection of claims
- Review audit findings
- Generate new selection concepts and queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
- B.E/MCA or equivalent
- 2–4 years of experience in data, decision making, or related fields
- Strong SQL, Python, Databricks, and MS Excel skills
- Aptitude for learning other analytics tools
- Proficiency in compiling data, creating reports, and presenting information
- Expertise with queries
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to translate business needs into practical applications
- Willingness to learn new concepts and be a team player
- US Healthcare knowledge is an added advantage
