About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end finance processes for the Insurance L&A segment, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead month-end and quarter-end closing activities and deliver timely, error-free financial statements
- Drive transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity
- Manage service delivery performance against SLAs and continuously enhance operational quality
- Act as primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and monitor KPIs for finance operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system upgrades
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks
- Mentor and develop finance team members
- Prepare and present executive-level reports and insights to senior leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in finance operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of insurance finance and L&A accounting principles
- Proven track record of managing large-scale transformation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Deep understanding of month-end close processes and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and Oracle
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
