About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements
Facilitate workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and requirement elicitation activities
Develop BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes
Perform detailed SQL data analysis across large and complex datasets
Create source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, business rules, and technical specifications
Define requirements for cloud-based analytics and reporting solutions with data engineering and architecture teams
Support enterprise data modernization and cloud migration programs
Liaise between business and technology teams to align business goals and technical solutions
Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production validation activities
Analyze business processes and recommend data-driven improvements
Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle
Identify project risks, perform impact assessments, and drive resolution
Mentor and guide junior business analysts and data analysts
Manage healthcare analytics projects, ensure policy adherence, provide strategic guidance, and lead a team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
15+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or related roles
Strong experience in healthcare, payer, population health, quality reporting, or HEDIS domains
Advanced SQL expertise with large-scale data warehouse environments
Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau
Experience creating source-to-target mappings, data models, and business process documentation
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
Graduate in Healthcare, Business, Data Science, or a related field
Experience with Hadoop/Hive, BigQuery, SQL Server, DB2, or enterprise data platforms
Experience with Jira, Rally, Rational ReqPro, Microsoft Copilot, Claude AI, Windows, and Mainframe Technologies
