About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as liaison between the technical and business teams
- Connect with client SMEs and understand functionality and data
- Perform data profiling to understand data quality and critical data elements
- Standardize reference and master data across systems
- Create data mapping and data lineage documentation, data models, and design documents
- Enable stakeholders to understand data mappings and transformations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-6 years of work experience in large-scale Data applications doing Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Transformations
- Experience in Snowflake and any relational database
- Experience with BRD creation and requirements gathering
- Very good verbal and written communication and tracking skills
- SQL proficiency
- Experience writing source-to-target mappings (STTM)
- Exposure to data consolidation, transformation, and standardization
- Experience with Insurance (Property and Casualty Insurance - P&C) domain clients
- Knowledge of policy and claims lifecycle and reinsurance business
- Ability to integrate quickly into the team and work independently toward team goals
- Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 and data modeling is good to have
- Bachelor's degree
