About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Apply clinical knowledge to CMS guidelines, E&M coding, Denial concepts, medical record analysis, and Modifiers
Work within timelines and obtain necessary stakeholder sign-off at each stage
Maintain and update reports as required
Meet productivity and quality targets
Be available for meetings and calls as required
Work independently and as part of a team
Liaise with the program/project manager as required
Conduct job functions in accordance with company Compliance, Information Security, and Regulatory policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Any bachelor’s degree
Active CPC/CCS Coding license
1.5+ years of Medical Coding Experience
E&M, Denial coding experience is mandatory
Good Knowledge of Major, Minor surgeries and Surgical guidelines
Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
Thorough clinical knowledge of CMS guidelines, E&M coding, Denial concepts, analyzing medical records and Modifiers
Strong personal and professional ethics
Strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills
Ability to envision a solution from requirements
Must understand and adhere with telecommuter policy
Must comply with company Compliance, Information Security and Regulatory policies, procedures and programs
