About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate business and UX requirements into technical designs and implementation tasks
- Design and build secure, scalable backend services and APIs using .NET / Entity Framework and/or Python
- Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Bootstrap
- Integrate AI services and components, including LLM-based validations, document analysis, and recommendations
- Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews, coding standards, and security best practices
- Use Git and TFS and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs and perform root cause analysis
- Customize and integrate third-party products and platforms
- Mentor and support junior developers
- Collaborate with QA Automation and Performance teams
- Work with the Technical Architect, Product Owner, and BAs
- Design and implement end-to-end features for the EXL Premium Audit platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- Typically 4–7 years of experience in enterprise application development
- Strong hands-on skills in .NET / Entity Framework and/or Python
- Experience with a modern frontend framework, specifically Angular
- Experience with form.io or similar schema-driven dynamic form frameworks is a strong plus
- Understanding of AI systems and experience integrating AI/ML/LLM services via APIs or SDKs
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Ability to work with distributed teams across India, Ireland, and the US
- Ability to own features end-to-end with minimal supervision
