About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform accounting and reporting under US GAAP and IFRS
- Manage internal, SOX, and statutory audits
- Prepare and file LGAAP financial statements
- Record accruals, prepaid expenses, and other journal entries impacting financial statements
- Perform GL reconciliations and backups
- Conduct P&L and balance-sheet variance analysis
- Execute GL accounting and monthly financial close/finalization
- Ensure timely and clean closure of quarterly and annual audits
- Review and de-risk the balance sheet
- Drive process improvements and automation
- Lead local audits and ensure timely closure and filings
- Ensure SOX audit closure and adherence to controls and policies
