About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end billing operations and deliver agreed KPIs, controls, and customer outcomes
- Manage team capacity, performance, cross-training, succession, and engagement
- Own escalations, ageing actions, governance inputs, and corrective-action closure
- Review high-risk transactions, reconciliations, exceptions, and month-end deliverables
- Partner with stakeholders to standardize processes and improve upstream data quality
- Drive automation, analytics, and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Ensure SOP, business continuity, audit, and compliance readiness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9–12 years of relevant AR / billing experience
- Knowledge of customer billing, invoice controls, and basic revenue and AR accounting
- Working knowledge of ERP billing modules and customer portals; SAP experience is advantageous
- Good Excel, validation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
- Demonstrated people leadership, performance management, and coaching capability
- Strong governance, problem-solving, risk management, and customer orientation
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent finance qualification
- English communication proficiency
- Willingness to work business-aligned shifts
