About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design repeatable processes to import data from CSV files and external APIs into SQL Server, then transform and cleanse it
Write and maintain reusable SQL stored procedures for data migration and transformation
Ensure stored procedures and .NET import tools are idempotent and safely handle duplicates, missing data, and partial failures
Build and maintain .NET services integrating with third-party APIs for data enrichment and synchronization
Design and build Azure Functions and console utilities that call external APIs, process data in bulk, and write results to SQL Server
Apply dependency injection, configuration binding, and structured logging across new services
Implement asynchronous, bounded-concurrency processing for bulk data volumes
Build resilient HTTP clients with authentication, retries, backoff, and error handling
Use Entity Framework Core and LINQ for application data access
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Develop and maintain React.js web applications and reusable UI components
Collaborate with backend developers on end-to-end solutions
Validate data accuracy after imports and migrations
Use Git and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for CI/CD
Document data flows, mapping logic, and data quality issues
Build KPI queries, views, and reporting datasets
Translate reporting requirements into reliable SQL views or stored procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
Strong experience in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end best practices
Experience with .NET/C# application development
Experience with SQL Server, SQL stored procedures, ETL, and data transformation
Experience integrating third-party APIs, including OAuth client credentials and Bearer tokens
Experience with Azure Functions, console utilities, dependency injection, configuration binding, and structured logging
Experience implementing asynchronous and concurrent processing using async/await and SemaphoreSlim-based bounded concurrency
Experience building resilient HTTP clients with retry logic and backoff for transient failures
Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Experience with Git and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for CI/CD
Preference for candidates who understand insurance and reserving concepts
