About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium preferably
- Set up automation frameworks from scratch and integrate automation code/tools to CI/CD pipeline
- Perform API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of web services
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns
- Provide technical training to upskill the existing testing team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience for web automation using Java/Python preferably Selenium
- Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Strong knowledge of Agile test methodology
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA
- Experience with database testing preferably SQL for data validation and analysis
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ISTQB Certified
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality complex solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and flexibility with timing
