About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, customize, implement, and support Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud
  • Extend the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Flows to support business requirements
  • Understand and work with Salesforce architecture, modules, databases, incident management lifecycle, and web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy new applications and updates to existing applications and code
  • Create technical documentation including user guides, release notes, and design documents
  • Work with integrated applications such as Oracle ERP/Fusion, Power BI, and HubSpot
  • Support the Salesforce Administrator on occasion
  • Configure and customize Salesforce workflows, alerts, role assignments, and other platform settings
  • Develop and maintain integrations and data flows between Salesforce and third-party systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, administrators, integration teams, executives, support personnel, and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to discuss technical and functional issues/solutions in highly escalated situations with executives, support, and customer personnel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments/threads simultaneously
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Salesforce and custom/scoped application development
  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture and modules, including Sales Cloud
  • Technical experience with Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Flows, alerts setups, role assignments, and configurations
  • Ability to develop integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration methods
  • Proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of UI/UX in Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data models, standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development lifecycle
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, App Builder, Salesforce Administrator, or Certified JavaScript Developer are advantageous
