About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Check with the Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
- Respond promptly to all Manager emails
- Apply problem-solving skills
- Ensure team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
- Perform surgery coding auditing for multi-specialty outpatient surgery, including IVR and General Surgery
- Work with injections/infusions and APC facility coding processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Life science/Paramedical Degree
- CPC/CPMA certification; CPC certification is mandatory
- Mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
- Overall 3+ years of coding experience
- 3+ years of multi-specialty surgery coding experience, including IVR and General Surgery
- Experience with outpatient surgery coding
- APC facility coding familiarity is an added advantage
- Computer skill sets/proficiency
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee
- Ability to work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
