About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Check with Manager/TL for clarifications
- Answer all emails from the Manager promptly
- Apply problem-solving skills
- Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
- Attend mandatory in-office training
- Perform multi-specialty outpatient surgery coding, including IVR and General Surgery
- Apply knowledge of injections and infusions
- Work with APC facility coding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree / Life science/Paramedical Degree
- CPC certification; CPC/CPMA
- Overall 3+ years of coding experience
- 3+ years experience in Multi-specialty surgery coding including IVR and General surgery
- Specialty worked: Outpatient surgery
- APC Facility coding is an added advantage
- Computer skill sets / computer proficiency
- Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
- Good communication, flexibility reliability
- Must understand and adhere with telecommuter policy
- Auditing and denial management experience (Optional)
- Must work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 08:00AM to 05:00PM IST
