About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Check with Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
- Answer all manager emails promptly
- Apply problem-solving skills
- Ensure team-wide compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
- Perform multi-specialty outpatient surgery coding, including IVR and General Surgery
- Conduct coding audits and support denial management activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Life science/Paramedical Degree
- CPC/CPMA certification; CPC certification is mandatory
- Mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
- Overall 3+ years of coding experience
- 3+ years of multi-specialty outpatient surgery coding experience, including IVR and General Surgery
- Computer skill sets/proficiency
- Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of injections/infusions
- Familiarity with APC facility coding is an added advantage
- Auditing and denial management experience is optional
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Must understand and adhere to telecommuter policy
- Must work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
