About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Check with the Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
- Answer all emails from the Manager promptly
- Apply problem-solving skills
- Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
- Perform coding auditing for multi-specialty outpatient surgery, including IVR and General Surgery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Life science/Paramedical Degree
- CPC certification; mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
- CPMA certification listed
- Computer skill sets
- Overall 3+ years of experience in multi-specialty surgery coding, including IVR and General Surgery
- Specialty experience in outpatient surgery
- Strong knowledge of injections/infusions
- APC facility coding familiarity is an added advantage
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee
- Ability to work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
