About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOPs
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Consult the Manager/Team Lead regarding clarifications
- Respond promptly to all Manager emails
- Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s in Science
- CPC Certification (Mandatory)
- CPC certification with 3+ years' experience in multi-specialty surgery coding, including IVR, general surgery, infusion and injection, and radiation oncology
- Auditing and denial management experience (optional)
- Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee
- Shift time: 8:00 PM IST - 5:00 PM IST
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Must understand and adhere to telecommuter policy
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow healthcare regulations and HIPAA/OIG compliance requirements
