About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform CPT coding for ED Facility and IP EM cases, including trauma coding
- Meet or exceed productivity standards according to productivity norms
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Update coding skills, knowledge, and accuracy through coding team meetings and educational conferences
- Work with the onshore team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced trauma coder and CPT coding expert
- Experience performing ED Facility and IP EM coding
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience after CPC/CCS certification
- Payer side experience is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to speak with the onshore team
- Willingness to work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and extend hours as required
- Master's in biology, B.Pt/M.Pt, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, B.A.M.S., or B.H.M.S.
- Knowledge of ED Facility, IP EM, and trauma coding
- Good analytical skills
- Sound anatomical knowledge
- Active certification from AAPC or AHIMA
- Wi-Fi with excellent bandwidth and uninterrupted power backup
