About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow every aspect of SOP without fail
- Complete received audits with quality
- Achieve quality and production targets
- Follow project-related protocols and instructions
- Escalate issues and identify trends
- Update productivity, clarification, and other applicable logs daily
- Check with the Manager/Team Lead for clarifications
- Answer all emails from the Manager promptly
- Apply problem-solving skills
- Ensure entire-team compliance with HIPAA and OIG requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- CPC certification required
- CPC/CPMA qualification listed
- Mandatory 3+ years of experience after certification
- Overall 3+ years of coding experience
- Life science/Paramedical Degree
- Experience in multi-specialty outpatient surgery coding, including IVR and General Surgery
- APC Facility coding is an added advantage
- Auditing and denial management experience optional
- Computer skills
- Strong written documentation and oral communication skills
- High-speed broadband internet connection at home
- Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
- Ability to work 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM IST
- Must follow HIPAA and OIG compliance requirements
