About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand the requirement of RTR GL function in an Insurance Business
- Perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Prepare process documentation
- Perform data mining, reporting, and analysis
- Handle database administration/development
- Develop and implement non-complex programs and/or maintain program logic for customized processes within established time-frames
- Support FX, debt, cash management, AP/AR, and treasury activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a graduate with at least 2 years of formal education in any stream with relevant experience in the technical areas listed on this JD (B.Com, M.Com, or MBA)
- Understand the requirement of RTR GL function in an Insurance Business
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of US/UK insurance process
- Knowledge of monthly, quarterly and annual GL close
- Subject Matter Expert in FX, Debts and Cash management activities
- Able to prioritize multiple activities
- Good analytical skills and competent at logical reasoning
- Data gathering ability / eye for detail
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of AP/AR/Treasury Function
- Experience developing and implementing non-complex programs and/or maintaining program logic for customized processes within established time-frames
- Experience in Clearwater tool
- Extensive knowledge of financial calculations
