About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and modify Terraform code for AWS infrastructure and services
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline
  • Manage application and infrastructure deployments across environments
  • Provide L2 production support, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Resolve production issues and make required code changes in supporting services
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk
  • Support the hybrid deployment model where applications run on AWS while execution remains on the Mastercard side
  • Provide support during the assigned shift to cover Vancouver and US business hours

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline
  • Ability to create and modify infrastructure code
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Amazon API Gateway, Amazon EKS, Amazon RDS, Amazon EC2, Amazon ElastiCache, Amazon OpenSearch Service, Amazon S3, and Amazon VPC
  • Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk for monitoring and observability
  • Experience in production monitoring, deployment support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Engineering or similar field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to support assigned shifts covering Vancouver and US business hours
