About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, call, analyze, and manage assigned outstanding receivables portfolios
  • Resolve outstanding and denied claims within defined timelines and SLAs
  • Interact with insurance representatives to obtain status updates and resolve claims
  • Meet daily productivity targets at the required quality level
  • Follow up on claims and prioritize pending claims from aging buckets
  • Review unpaid insurance claims
  • Verify insufficient or unclear patient insurance information
  • Follow confidentiality and HIPAA compliance guidelines when calling insurance companies
  • Escalate difficult collection situations to management
  • Handle patient billing queries and update account information
  • Post cash and write off contractual adjustments
  • Meet individual daily, weekly, and monthly targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduation in any stream
  • BPO experience of 3–6 years
  • US Healthcare AR experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High-speed broadband internet connection at home
  • Must understand and adhere to the telecommuter policy
  • Ability to work 7:30 PM IST–4:30 AM IST
