About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites
- Build API, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional automated tests
- Integrate quality gates and automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Define test data strategy and maintain traceable quality evidence
- Identify quality risks early and drive remediation plans
- Define test strategy and produce Test Project Completion Certificates
- Use AI to propose test scenarios, edge cases, and coverage gaps
- Use AI support for defect triage and regression prioritization
- Generate initial automation scaffolds with AI, then validate and harden them
- Critically review AI-generated assertions and expected outcomes
- Plan, monitor, and manage operational delivery to agreed quality parameters and timelines
- Implement work management trackers, define team roles and responsibilities, and roll out work allocation and delivery plans
- Work with onshore managers to agree on scope, stakeholders, escalation matrices, milestones, and timelines
- Design and implement MIS for periodic status updates and risk/control trend identification
- Drive risk and governance across business processes and continuous improvement in risk management
- Integrate compliance into business processes and champion customer service
- Use project management skills and current technology/tools to improve deliverables and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years in QA automation/SDET roles
- Strong experience with API/service testing and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of test strategy and quality metrics
- Good SQL/data validation skills
- Professional working-level English proficiency or above (B2+/C1 preferred)
- Mainframe experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, DB2 or similar
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CISA or CIA
- 7-9 years of experience (listed in the qualifications fields)
