Key responsibilities & impact

Manage successful delivery of external Client Assessments, Projects, and Enterprise Data Management solutions involving Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence initiatives
Create project plans with estimated duration, tasks, resources, and milestones
Align project deliverables with business and project objectives
Coordinate meetings between team members and business and IT stakeholders
Obtain sign-off on project deliverables
Identify risks, assess impacts, and implement mitigation plans
Manage resources to ensure adherence to project plans
Implement change requests and corrective actions
Use tools, processes, and templates to manage projects effectively
Maintain project documentation, track scope changes, and regularly update project plans
Produce project metrics to track project success
Communicate status, risks, issues, decisions, action plans, deliverables, timelines, and budget updates to stakeholders and sponsors
Establish stakeholder and participant roles and responsibilities
Coach and mentor project resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
Perform business analysis and regularly work with business and technical users
Schedule resources, capture documentation, and obtain deliverable acceptance

Requirements

What you’ll need

8-10 years of experience as a project manager on medium to large scale IT projects
5+ years focused in at least 2 of: Data Integration/Movement, Business Intelligence, Data Quality, Cloud Platforms, Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Governance, Business and Data Analysis, Data Modelling
3+ years of experience delivering projects with a combination of onshore and offshore project teams in a consultant role
Experience with BI/DW implementations and the enterprise data management space
At least 4 years of solid Agile experience in a Data Warehouse environment
Knowledge of Waterfall, RUPP, Scrum, and Kanban
Highly competent with MS Project and standard desktop MS Office applications
Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT preferred, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with master data management and data governance
Experience with JIRA, Trello, DevOps, or similar tools
Experience managing project teams of 5-20 people
Deep experience creating and managing project plans, including estimation, task identification, resource planning, resource balancing/loading, and risk mitigation
Graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
6-8 years of experience in data engineering or related field
