About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models for banking applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with enterprise data governance standards
  • Optimize database design for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Lead data migration initiatives from Oracle to Netezza
  • Support enterprise data integration and data warehousing programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Modeler
  • Strong domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Database, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles
  • Experience with Data Warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration frameworks
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Oracle to Netezza migrations, Teradata/Netezza, MPP Architecture, Data Governance, and Banking Compliance is highly preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
