About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the design of building mechanical systems (HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and related systems)
- Produce and update plans, technical details, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform technical calculations and prepare equipment and material lists
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines
- Ensure interdisciplinary coordination and integration of mechanical systems
- Participate in coordination meetings, drawing reviews, and technical follow-ups
- Address comments, shop drawings, and requests for information
- Conduct field surveys and participate in site visits
- Ensure the quality, compliance, and consistency of deliverables
- Keep knowledge up to date regarding applicable standards, products, and emerging technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in building mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent training
- Relevant experience in building mechanical systems and consulting engineering
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with rigor and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills in French
- Valid driver's license and ASP Construction card
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and consistently committed to quality
