About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of geotechnical studies.
- Analyze and interpret field and laboratory investigation results.
- Prepare technical reports and geotechnical recommendations.
- Design and validate various geotechnical structures, including foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability assessments.
- Provide technical support to clients and project teams.
- Supervise investigation work and site activities.
- Collaborate with the company’s various disciplines to provide integrated solutions.
- Participate in business development and maintain client relationships.
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, specialized testing, and geo-environmental expertise activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership.
- At least 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Sound knowledge of Quebec geotechnical standards and practices.
- Strong teamwork and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in French.
