About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in delivering projects
- Meet with clients and coordinate team efforts with other disciplines
- Manage the budgets and resources allocated to each assignment
- Oversee the administrative management of projects, including invoicing, collections, and contract administration
- Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications
- Supervise deliverables, including reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
- Participate in preparing proposals and work plans
- Establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients, contractor partners, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Perform all other duties related to the position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec as a Professional Engineer
- Have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in bridges and structures
- Have a strong knowledge of the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) and the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI)
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage teams
