Key responsibilities & impact

Run open-ended research projects using the internet as the primary tool
Research markets, products, companies, funding activity, competitive landscapes, people, technologies, and regulation
Turn messy findings into matrices, comparison tables, briefs, landscape maps, and one-pagers
Develop informed points of view and identify key uncertainties and next steps
Use AI tools to increase research speed and breadth
Build lightweight tools, scrapers, or trackers when needed
Manage multiple unrelated requests and reprioritize as circumstances change
Work directly with a highly accomplished leader and team

Requirements

What you’ll need

0–2 years of experience
Bachelor's degree
Strong internship experience may be applicable for recent graduates
Sharp, curious, and able to reason through unfamiliar questions
Extensive use of AI tools, including Claude and Cowork, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Hugging Face
Ability to vibe code working scripts or prototypes
Comfort with ambiguity
Self-directed and coachable
Startup-minded
Strong writing skills
Ability to communicate research in a page or less
