About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the strategy and roadmap for Experian Health's datamart, analytical tooling, and data infrastructure
Set the strategy for self-serve analytical tooling for internal teams and customers
Own data governance standards, including data quality monitoring, lineage, and definitions
Partner with Engineering, Data, and Compliance on regulatory, security, and privacy requirements such as HIPAA
Identify opportunities for AI and automation in insight generation, data quality monitoring, and governance
Build, develop, and lead a team across analytics, data platform, and tooling
Set clear priorities and OKRs
Partner with product leaders, Sales, and Client Success
Present strategy and progress to the Chief Product Officer and senior leadership
Build the business case for data commercialization and turn Experian Health data and insights into products

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in data platform, analytics, or data product leadership
3+ years managing a team
Experience building or scaling an enterprise datamart, data platform, or analytical tooling function
Experience with data governance, including data quality, lineage, and definition standards
Experience preparing data for AI/ML use
Experience building or supporting data commercialization or data-as-a-product initiatives
Experience with data infrastructure, pipelines, and BI/analytical tooling
Experience partnering with engineering on architecture decisions
Experience applying AI/ML to data platform or analytics problems
Healthcare, healthcare IT, or regulated-industry experience with data privacy requirements preferred
Knowledge of Epic, Meditech, or Oracle EHR data infrastructure is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (computer science, data engineering, statistics, or related)
