About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead technology for Identity, Access & SSO, Portal & Design System, Observability, Metrics & Monitoring, and Billing & Metering
  • Oversee development and evolution of shared platform architecture and horizontal services
  • Lead a global team of 100+ employees
  • Develop and execute technology strategy across platform capabilities
  • Scale platform adoption globally through cloud migration, workload modernization, and platform standardization
  • Lead identity and access strategy, including SSO, RBAC, and authentication infrastructure
  • Partner with product, engineering, and regional leaders to prioritize investments and drive innovation
  • Lead enterprise platform modernization from legacy environments to secure, scalable, cloud-native architectures
  • Establish platform engineering standards, design system and portal strategy, and developer-facing tooling
  • Build and evolve observability and billing infrastructure, including monitoring, tracing, metering, and monetization
  • Evaluate and scale emerging platform technologies
  • Align platform investments with growth priorities across Technology, Product, Security, and regional organizations
  • Shape enterprise platform strategy and technology governance through leadership forums
  • Represent Experian's platform engineering capability within the technology ecosystem
  • Engage with senior leaders across the US, UK, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America
  • Report to the CTO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years leadership experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, identity and access management, or technology product management
  • Experience leading large-scale global technology organizations
  • Proven track record building and scaling cloud platforms and shared technology capabilities at enterprise scale
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Ability to influence senior executives and secure stakeholder commitment
  • Ability to translate complex technical strategies into business outcomes
  • Experience mobilizing multiple business units, engineering teams, and P&L owners to drive adoption without direct authority
  • Deep understanding of identity, access, observability, and platform technologies
  • Strategic judgment to determine capabilities to build, buy, scale, or retire
  • Experience operating in regulated industries
  • Governance accountability for platform engineering standards, identity and access architecture, and design system frameworks across regions and business units
  • US-based work eligibility/location requirement
  • Periodic travel
