Key responsibilities & impact

Assess the current Salesforce org within the first 90 days and deliver a prioritized simplification plan with measurable targets
Retire legacy automation, fields, and objects that no longer add value
Turn high-level design into build-ready specifications, including object model, external IDs, and lifecycle state model
Document key architectural decisions in a lasting decision log
Rebuild CPQ on the defined product catalog, including bundles, option constraints, price rules, proration, and amendment paths
Build an entitlement ledger and fulfillment gate to track purchased versus consumed capacity and block unsold activations
Own the Salesforce side of the NetSuite integration, including field mapping, payload, error handling, and reconciliation
Build permission models and system-enforced governance controls consistent with HIPAA and least-privilege requirements
Deliver the rebuild end to end, including backlog, CI/CD, releases, data migration, UAT, hypercare, and documentation
Report progress and risks to RevOps and Finance leadership
Evaluate Salesforce CPQ versus Revenue Cloud Advanced for long-term quoting platform strategy
Set architecture standards and review platform development work
Deliver an org health baseline and signed target-state design within the first 90 days
Deliver CPQ that prevents quoting deals without required components
Deliver an entitlement ledger and production fulfillment gate with an approved exception path
Deliver a NetSuite billing feed reconciling to zero unmatched records at month-end close
Meet simplification targets and maintain a documented, source-controlled, supportable platform
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight years building on Salesforce, including three years as lead architect with hands-on build responsibility
End-to-end delivery of at least one quote-to-cash implementation or major re-implementation through go-live and hypercare
Deep, hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience
Strong Flow, Apex, and declarative configuration skills
Quote-to-cash integration with an ERP, ideally NetSuite, through an iPaaS such as Celigo, MuleSoft, or Boomi
Security and sharing architecture experience
Data migration experience
Modern release management experience, including source control, CI/CD, and sandbox strategy
Self-directed delivery and clear writing skills
Ability to travel as needed
Preferred: Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA-track certifications; CPQ or Revenue Cloud credentials
Preferred: Hands-on Revenue Cloud Advanced experience or a CPQ-to-Revenue Cloud migration
Preferred: Subscription, usage, or capacity-based billing models in multi-location B2B SaaS
Preferred: Healthcare or other regulated-industry SaaS experience, including HIPPA and SOC 2
Preferred: Experience designing Salesforce for AI and automation, such as Agentforce or Data Cloud
