About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories.
Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
Act as a key partner in the development of new components with engineering, quality, and strategic supplier teams.
Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements, including manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rate variations.
Manage the budget associated with the assigned parts portfolio and continuously update product cost information.
Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant education and/or experience in procurement, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required.
Spanish is considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating environments and SAP.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage priorities.
Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
