About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support strategic sourcing and supplier management activities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories.
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and strategic supplier teams on new component development.
  • Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements, including manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rate variations.
  • Manage the budget associated with the assigned parts portfolio and continuously update product cost information.
  • Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Represent BRP with international suppliers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant education and/or experience in procurement, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required.
  • Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating environments and SAP.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage priorities.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
