About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories.
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
  • Act as a key partner in the development of new components, working with engineering, quality, and strategic suppliers.
  • Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements regarding manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rates.
  • Manage the parts portfolio budget and update standard costs.
  • Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement spending-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant experience or education in procurement, administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is essential.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows environments and SAP.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
