About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead engineering, quality, and in-service issue management activities across the operational fleet
- Provide technical leadership for the AJAX Programme's In-Service Pillar
- Resolve in-service engineering issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders and support the pillar lead
- Liaise cross-functionally with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teams
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with engineering and safety requirements
- Maintain technical documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior In-Service Engineering Manager supporting the AJAX Programme
- Current SC Clearance required for the duration of the requirement
- UK nationals only
- Mandatory attendance: 3 days per week at MOD Abbey Wood, 1 day per week at General Dynamics Merthyr Tydfil, and 1 day per week working from home
- Compliance with engineering and safety requirements
- Engineering, quality, and in-service issue management experience
- Technical leadership and stakeholder collaboration capabilities
- Cross-functional liaison with logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teams
