About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Capture requirements from customers and end users, and understand the whole life cycle solution
Work across requirements, design, implementation, verification, manufacture and support
Work as part of a team across the breadth of the company to define cost-effective and technically compliant solutions
Use modelling and simulation to provide early design risk reduction
Develop test plans, cases and procedures to build evidence of a successfully developed solution
Work on aerospace and defence projects across land, sea and air domains

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant technical degree, or equivalent Apprenticeship
British National only
Ability to gain UK Government Security Clearance
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage own time to achieve agreed milestones
Demonstrated Systems Engineering process flow
Demonstrated competence of Microsoft Office Products
Model Based Systems Engineering, including SysML, or equivalent
Occasional travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally
